Project Overview
Secure Access Solutions were instructed to remove and replace a damaged external handrail, ensuring the new installation matched the existing design while meeting current safety and durability standards.
The objective was to provide a like-for-like replacement with a high-quality finish and minimal disruption to the client.
The Challenge
The existing handrail had been damaged and required full removal and replacement. The client needed a solution that:
-
Matched the original handrail design
-
Was robust, weather-resistant, and long-lasting
-
Was installed safely and professionally, with minimal site disruption
Our Solution
Our team managed the project from start to finish, including fabrication, finishing, transport, and installation.
The damaged handrail was carefully removed and safely disposed of. We then fabricated a new mild-steel handrail to match the existing style exactly. To ensure long-term durability and a clean appearance, the handrail was galvanised and powder-coated white before being delivered to site.
Once on site, our engineers installed the new handrail, checked all fixings, and carried out a final safety inspection to ensure the installation was secure, compliant, and fit for purpose.
