Project Overview
Secure Access Solutions were appointed to remove and replace a damaged manual gate and post following site damage.
The works included installing new matching gates, fitting a bolt-down post, reinstating the surrounding mesh fencing, and fully recommissioning the manual gate system to ensure correct geometry and secure operation.
All works were completed on 25/11/2025.
The Challenge
The existing gate and post had been damaged, affecting both the security and operation of the entrance. The client required:
-
Safe removal of the damaged gate and post
-
A replacement solution that integrated with the existing fencing
-
Correct gate alignment and geometry
-
Full recommissioning to ensure smooth operation and secure locking
Our Solution
Our engineers first released the mesh fencing from the damaged post to allow safe removal without affecting the surrounding perimeter. The damaged gate and post were then removed, and all debris was cleared from the area.
A new bolt-down post and matching gates were supplied and installed, after which the mesh fencing was securely reattached. Both manual gates were then fully recommissioned, with careful adjustment to achieve correct gate geometry, smooth operation, and reliable locking bar functionality.
Works Completed
-
Released mesh fencing to allow safe removal of the damaged post
-
Removed the damaged gate and post and cleared all debris from site
-
Supplied and installed a new bolt-down post and matching gates
-
Reattached the mesh fencing securely to the new post
-
Fully recommissioned both manual gates
-
Checked gate geometry, operation, and locking bar functionality
-
Ensured everything was operating safely and correctly
Outcome
The damaged gate system was successfully replaced and recommissioned, restoring secure access to the site. The new gates and post integrated seamlessly with the existing fencing, and all components were confirmed to be operating smoothly and as intended. The site was left safe, tidy, and fully functional.
